SPRING/SUMMER 2012  The Wascana Racing Canoe Club offers Regina and area youth an opportunity to excel in the Olympic discipline of sprint canoe/kayak. We offer programs from introductory paddling to high performance competitive training. All of our programs follow the principles of Long Term Athlete Development.

• I Can Paddle; Canoe/Kayak:  Program starts May 21. This brand new course was developed to help introduce sprint canoe and kayak skills to youths age 10-14 years. Following this program, participants will be invited to paddle with the Racing Program for one week free of charge!
• Kayak Kamp:  For ages 9-14, summer sessions beginning in July.
• Racing Program:  This is a great program for youths ages 10-14 years of age. Participants have the opportunity to race at local and regional competitions. The Racing Program is an introduction to a structured training program which follows Long Term Athlete Development Principles.
• Adult Programs:  We offer a variety of programs for adults such as Learn to Kayak, Paddle Fit and more!

Located below the Willow Restaurant near the Wascana Marina, we are a sprint racing canoe/kayak club located on Wascana Lake in Regina.  As a club we are successful at a number of different levels including producing national and international level athletes and providing youth and adults with fun paddling opportunities.

WRCC youth programs focus on teaching canoe and kayak skills and water safety and work to improve participants overall fitness levels, in a fun positive environment!  For first time canoers and kayakers to those wishing to compete in the sport of sprint canoe/kayak, WRCC has great programs, excellent qualified instructors and lots of quality equipment.
