Regina Minor Softball

On MARCH 10, 2012, Come try Softball, for AGES 5 - 10

  • 3:00 - 4:30 & 4:30 – 6:00
  • At Ruth M Buck School - 6330 7th Ave.
  • Bring runners and a glove if you have one
  • Try:
    • Hitting
    • Catching (cushioned balls)
    • See how fast you can run the bases
    • Test your throwing-see how many targets you can hit

DIVISIONS

  • BLASTBALL - Born in 2007 BlastBall is a revised modern version of t-ball that gets things started for 5 year olds.
  • LEARN TO PLAY - 3 Levels: Beginner/Novice/Mite Born in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
  • SQUIRT- Born in 2000, 2001.
  • PEE WEE -Born in 1998, 1999.
  • BANTAM -Born in 1996, 1997.
  • MIDGET - Born in 1994, 1995 Softball does not end at Bantam! This year all teams will be registered in the Regina Ladies League and will play in one of their three divisions depending on evaluation results.

REGISTRATION

For registration purposes, the city is divided into four zones.  Look  at the map to determine which zone you live in.  Then click on the  links provided to find out how to register in your zone.  For Learn to Play and Blastball you may register in any zone but once  they reach Squirt age(turning 11 or 12 that year) they must    register in the zone with the residence unless you have an approved  release from your zone.

For 2012 Harbour Landing residents will register in Zone 4 (Falcons).

Zone 1 Lazers - The league has teams for girls aged 5 to 18 and boys from ages 5 to 10. Online Registration.

Zone 2 Fighting Saints - Girls aged 5-19, Boys aged 5-10. Registration Night: February 24 & 25, 2012 at the Glencairn Rec Centre (2626 East Dewdney Avenue) 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. or you may drop off your registration or mail it to the registrar; address below.

Zone 3 Royals - Royals Player Registration Night for the 2012 Season: FEB 14TH 2012 7PM – 8:30PM Northwest Leisure Center (League registration deadline Feb 29th 2012)

Zone 4 Falcons - Check Falcons website for information.
