2012 MINI-MOUNTIE CAMP:  This summer, the RCMP Heritage Centre is offering kids a unique opportunity to learn more about the majestic RCMP horses.  The theme for this year's camp is "Horses in the Force: On Parade and On Patrol! This day camp is for ages 5 and up, and the hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm.  Summer sessions are as follows:

• July 9 - 13 for ages 5 and 6
• July 16 - 20 for ages 7 and 8
• July 23 - 27 for ages 9 and 10
• July 30 - August 3 for ages 11 and 12
• August 20 - 24 tentatively
• August 27 - 31 tentatively

The RCMP Heritage Centre (RCMP HC) exists to tell the story of the RCMP.  The RCMP story includes the Force's role in the development of Canada, the role of the RCMP in policing over 200 communities across Canada, the challenges of serving as Canada's Federal Police Force, and the role the RCMP plays internationally.

The RCMP HC is located on the grounds of the RCMP Academy, ‘Depot' Division in Regina, Saskatchewan.
