Band Season is: Monday, Tuesday & Fridays from 5:30 - 7:30 from Sept 12 to the end of May

The Mossing School of Music is dedicated to building a firm foundation of excellence in music and visual performance through integrity, and trust. Responsible citizenship, a love of music,self-discipline, deportment, team work and a care for others are forces that shape the members of The Mossing School of Music for a lifetime! The Mossing School of Music has 3 levels of band:

• Beginner - those that have never played an instrument before or would like to learn a new instrument;
• Intermediate - those that have a few years experience 
• Senior - those that have 3 or more years experience.

Intermediate & Senior level have 1 full hour of section practice & 1 full hour of full band practice. Beginner level starts out with 2 free lessons & has 1 full hour of full band practice. Our program runs after school hours & will complement those students that may thinking about or may already be in the school band program. The School marches in many parades in Regina & surrounding communities & we also travel to Williston, North Dakota every year for their parade in early May. We also participate in Music Festivals in and around Regina, such as Spring Fest & the Optimist Festival.

Learn how to play some of the following instruments:

• Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, French Horn, Baritone, Trombone, Tuba, Percussion (Drums)

Bob Mossing has dedicated his life to the development of the musical talent of over 10,000 students. In 2010 he celebrated 50 years in music. Bob began his musical career as an original member of the Regina Lions Band founded by his mother, Marion Mossing in 1946. He eventually became the Instructor & Conductor & guided the Band to critical acclaim at a local, national, & international level. In 2005, the Mossing School of Music opened its doors to musicians both young & old. In 2009 he was awarded the Order of Canada for his outstanding contributions as a music educator & leader. He has also recently been honoured by both the Canadian Band Association & the Sask Band Association for his dedication to developing young musicians.
